Created in 2002 in the USA by Smart Mom Jewelry. The idea for teething bling was created by Mums who noticed how much their babies loved pulling, mouthing and playing with their jewellery. So we decided to create jewellery that looks great but is SAFE for our babies to play with.
Then in 2008, Smart Mum Jewellery was established to specifically look after our southern Hemisphere clients.
Now in 2011 Smart Mum has established an exclusive Australian website and distribution centre to look after our Australian clients.

We use only the highest-quality, phthalate-free, federally approved silicone in our Teething Bling™ line. The material is non-toxic, latex-free, food–safe, even dishwasher-friendly! It is the same silicone used
in many other popular teething products and SGS test reports are available upon request. Although we stress that this is adult jewellery not intended for children to wear, all of our pendants come with a breakaway clasp as an added safety feature.

Occasionally a customer will ask if Teething Bling® is appropriate for a child of a certain age. Our products are designed for adults to wear to soothe and entertain babies with emerging teeth. Children with fully developed teeth may be able to bite through Teething Bling®. Therefore, parents need to determine what is best for their own situation and child and as always, Smart Mum reminds everyone that children should never be left unattended with jewellery of any kind.
